The second stage in this project is a window seat.
As with the bookcases the skirting and mouldings are copied from existing features of the room.
The curved front is made from laminated plywood, and the slots in the front, together with the row of holes at the back of the seat, are to allow the radiator, which was retained beneath the window, to breathe.
The seat opens in sections to allow storage and access to the radiator.
