I’ve just finished this unusual job. It is a boot chest in walnut with oak interior. It is designed to go in the boot of a Land Rover Discovery and carries gun, cartridges and other paraphernalia, with a space for the dog on the right.
Unable to find good looking handles to take the significant weight of this beast I learnt to splice rope in order to create the handles that you can see here.
