The seats and backs of these bar stools are cut from solid pippy oak which is fairly difficult to source in this sort of thickness as the best stuff goes to the veneer makers. Note how the seat and back appear to float unconnected to the rest of the frame.
These stools are not as big as they look – they were designed to accommodate the children of the family at the kitchen breakfast bar.
